Shared transport
Heading to town or market? Post the trip so other farmers without their own transport can arrange to piggyback produce on it — this board just makes trips visible, coordination happens directly between you.

General planting and harvest windows for Namibia's summer rainfall season (roughly November–April in most regions). Rainfall and frost timing vary year to year and by exact locality — treat this as a starting point, and confirm with your local agricultural extension officer before planting.

Rainfall is lower and less reliable further south and west, so livestock (cattle, goats, sheep) rather than crop farming dominates in much of this area. Where crops are grown, it's mostly under irrigation near towns or rivers rather than rain-fed on the calendar above.
